Camelot
The Tempest
Sweet Charity
Phantom
The Three Musketeers
Role: Arthur
by Neil Simon and Cy Coleman
by William Shakespeare
by Yeston and Kopit
Role: Phantom
by Emmy award-winning Norman Allen
Role: Cardinal Richelieu
Role: Prospero
From the Stockton Record: "Joseph McNally makes an unctuously arresting, nasal-voiced, red velvet-robed cardinal. In this skillfully written script, he argues insidiously for his own heroism."
From the Modesto Bee: "Holding down the dark side of the equation are Richelieu (Joseph McNally, shifting between statesmanlike decorum and seething evil) and his seductive accomplice."
From the Stockton Record: "McNally projects power and credibility in his interpretation of the twisted soul of the unhapppy Phantom."
From the Stockton Record: "Joseph McNally gives a strong, virile performance as a young Prospero....In a generally strong cast, [Ariel] and Prospero are the most interesting to watch, he for his presence and magic, she for movement...."
From the Modesto Bee: ...Joseph McNally, a skillful L.A. actor whose undisguised youthfulness-about 40-contrasts with the role's traditional qualities of advanced age and monumental stature. The choice does nothing to the human dynamics but does allow one unique twist to the tale: an erotic attraction between Prospero and Ariel.
From the Stockton Record: "Actors' Equity performers play the leads -- all with fine singing voices. Joseph McNally is a boisterous, likeable King Arthur...Ultimately, SRT's "Camelot" is a moving piece of theater. When the castle wall breaks apart and Camelot itself has come unstuck, King Arthur ends the show affirming that we are all but drops in a vast sea. "But now and again," he says, "some of them sparkle." The same may be said of SRT's Camelot."
Role: Oscar
by Alan Lerner and Frederick Loewe
The show was directed by Sierra Rep's executive producer Scott Viets and the role of Charity was played by the immensely talented Christine Rowan.
From the Modesto Bee: "McNally, as Charity's most promising boyfriend Oscar, transforms himself into a believable nerd by adding a nasal voice and breaking out into a high-pitched laugh whenever he's nervous."
The role of Christine was played by the amazing Megan Starr-Levitt, who sang the Lloyd Webber heroine in a national touring company of "Phantom of the Opera".

I Do I Do
by Tom Jones and Harvy Schmidt
Role: Michael
From the Modesto Bee: "It's impossible not to like the cast members in the Sierra Repertory Theatre's musical "I Do I Do!" Joseph McNally and Madeline Young, who play a husband and wife during a 50-year span, are charming and funny in a Lucy-and-Ricky sort of way...they kept the audience laughing throughout the show and rightfully got a standing ovation."
